A blog can be loosely defined as an online resource of easily-updated information. Blogs are typically fluid in their display of content, as a ‘blogger’ or user can instantaneously change what a blog says and how it appears. Blogs can be personal, professional, or both.
One key aspect of blogs is their ability to generate immediate feedback between blogger and audience. This feature is usually available via a ‘comment’ or ‘reply’ link beneath a blog entry. By submitting a brief response to a particular entry, the reader enters an ongoing dialogue with those sharing similar interests, questions, or thoughts.
Why not start (or continue) your experience with blogs by commenting on this blog post? Click the ‘Comments’ link below, or just type a response into the reply field. If you’d like, you could start by asking a question about blogs, or by sharing your own personal blogging experience.
Note: This blog has most of the static conference logistical information along the top navigation bar, with announcement and promotional information viewable in categories on the sidebar.
